HOMEWORK- Due April 10

         Your homework this week is to write a summary about a chapter in your leader biographies.  This means you need to choose a chapter in your biography books (you all showed me yours in your homework folders on Wednesday).  Then, you need to write a summary of 3-6 sentences on the sheet you received in class.  Remember, think about the beginning, middle, and end of the chapter.  I will be looking for transition words to help you organize the summary (first, then, next, after that, finally, later on, in the end, etc.). 

Steps: 
1st- Choose a chapter in your leader biography (they are not numbered, so look for the titles of the chapters from the table of contents).
2nd- Reread the chapter. 
3rd- Think of the beginning, middle, and end. Pay special attention to what is necessary, and what are extra and unnecessary details. 
4th- Write 3-6 sentences using transition words. 

This summary is due on the 10 of April.
